Sony Ericsson’s Pocket TV is is a British music and entertainment show made by Sony Ericsson and shot in HD. Series one launched June 2009 and ran for 13 weeks on YouTube [1] [2] The show achieved over 2.5 million views. [3] The first series was presented by Matt Edmondson and Jameela Jamil. [4]
They hosted segments which included Face Invaders, Quiz my pants and live sessions. [5] [6] The show gave viewers the opportunity to submit ideas and to host Citizen Journalist features. [7] including Underground Rebel Bingo Club [8], The Hide & Seek festival [9] and Welsh music club night Swaparama. [10]
The second series of Pocket TV will run for 13 weeks starting April 2010 [11]. It will be presented by Matt Edmondson and available on YouTube, MSN and the PlayStation Network in the UK and Ireland. [12]
