Pistol Creek Gang is an American Heavy metal band from Huntingtown, Maryland [1] [2].
Pistol Creek Gang is a band formed in early 2009, Steve Thompson (Bassist) from the band 3 Star Shaman teamed up with Joe Darmofalski and Bryon Ciotti (Guitarists) from Defenestrate and singer Chris Granville [3]. Their music has been described as "blending a combination of mind-numbing heaviness with a chest-punching groove" [4]. Brian Clubb joined on drums in late 2009. They are heavily influenced by Black Sabbath. "We believe in the riff, unlike many new metal bands out there who use fast playing and blast beats (unappealing to the ear) when you can't even hear a solid riff. We want you to be able to feel that shit in your chest." [5] The band recorded their Demo cd at BMW Studios [6]. The band plays live very often in the Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC area [7] [8] [9] [10].
