Mac Hoover is an American videographer, producer and film director. Originally known for producing the Amazon Prime series Goliath Fishing [1] at the age of 17.

Early Life

Hoover was born on September 27, 2000 in Englewood, Florida. He went to Lemon Bay High School. Early in his high school career he found his passion for videography and started a small multimedia company named HookSet Films. This was something he had dreamed about since his childhood. Growing up in a small fishing town, Hoover had always been an avid fisherman. He loved the water and always wanted to share his experiences with others. This is what sparked the idea to dive into the world of video. While in high school, Hoover was already learning his trade and setting himself up for a career in videography, starting a multimedia company called HookSet Films.

Goliath Fishing

At 17 he started producing his first television series for CBS Sports and Amazon Prime, Goliath Fishing, hosted by James Marko. Goliath Fishing currently has 2 seasons with a total of 15 episodes.

Videography

He has contributed much of the " new wave" as he claims, for the fishing industry and the Music industry. He has worked with many known public figures like Lil Yachty [2], Greg Norman [3], Ed Bassmaster, Scott Martin, Redd Remy, and many others.
