Paradise Valley or Paradise Valley Village is one of the 15 urban villages that make up Phoenix, Arizona, United States. It borders the town of Paradise Valley, which is separate and independent of Phoenix. As of 1995, the population was 155,200. [1]
It is located in the central eastern portion of the city, and borders the city of Scottsdale and the town of Paradise Valley on the east and south. Within Phoenix, it borders four other urban villages ( Desert View, Deer Valley, North Mountain, and Camelback East). The village is 49.2 square miles (127 km2) in size and is centered at the Paradise Valley Mall area. The core of the village includes commercial, industrial, and multifamily housing developments. Outer areas have more lower density residential land. [2]
