Muhammad Ssegirinya is a Uganda politician aged and the member of the eleventh Parliament of Uganda [1] [2] [ [1]]. Muhammad belongs to the National Unity Platform (NUP) Party and the Kawempe North Member of Parliament.
Muhammad attended primary Kaddugala Primary School for his primary education [3]. He then joined Kaddugala Secondary School for his secondary education. Muhammad holds a Diploma in Journalism from Datamine Technical Business School.
In 2006, Muhammad started his politcal career on political talk shows where he became prominent as "Ssegirinya Eddobozi Ly'e Kyebando" literally translated as "Ssegirinya the Voice of Kyebando" [4] [5]. As his polictical ambition grew Muhammad changed from the Voice of Kyebando to "MP to be Kawempe North". In 2017 he was a KCCA Councilor representing Kawempe North at City Hall [6].
In 2011 Muhammad contested for MP Kawempe North but lost to Latif Ssebaggala.
In 2021 Muhammad contested and won the seat to the current 11th parliament as the MP Kawempe North
