Hager appeared on the concert/documentary for the 10th anniversary of Spring Awakening, as well as the original cast performance of "Touch Me" at the 2022 Tony Awards. [2]

Hager is also a composer. He co-wrote the songs "Quiero Soñar" and "Maduros," which were featured in the films Top Five and Can You Ever Forgive Me?, respectively. [3] [4]

Hager composed and produced the LGBTQ+ musical Basic Witches, [5] [6] [7] [8] for which he was nominated for a Barrymore Award in 2018 for Best Original Score. [3] [5] Hager provided musical direction for Swarthmore College's Department of Theatre's production of the original student musical R3TURN: A Palestinian Punk-Pop Musical. [9]

In 2022, Hager worked on producing two original musicals, Little Duende [10] [11] [12] and Siluetas (to be developed with the Power Street Theatre Company as part of the 2022 National Musical Theatre Conference). Hager previewed some of Little Duende's songs during his featured solo concert Robi Hager: So Far, as part of Arden Theatre Company's 2021 Cabaret Series. [10] [13]
