Simon Chapple is an English writer, and quit alcohol coach his work focuses on overcoming alcoholism, based on his own experiences.
At age 17, Simon took his first job as an office junior at an insurance company, [1] he worked in the insurance industry until 2002. In 2004 he and his wife Michelle founded internet marketing company Total SEO & Marketing. [2] At the age of 44, he quit drinking and stepped back from his marketing business, this led to him founding his Be Sober blog, Facebook community, and YouTube channel. [3]
As a quit alcohol coach for This Naked Mind, [4] founded by author Annie Grace, Simon has helped thousands of people evaluate the role alcohol plays in their lives. [5] He has spoken at This Naked Mind Live in Denver, in September 2019, and has also spoken at The Club Soda Mindful Drinking Festival, in January 2019 and August 2020. [6] He has also had several television and radio appearances, [7] where he has spoken on the topic of quitting alcohol and his own journey to sobriety. [8] [9] He is the founder of Be Sober.
