History
Puffy was founded in 2016 by entrepreneur Arthur Andreasyan and launched in the United States on March 20, 2017. [1] The company also launched its Canadian e-commerce store on March 17, 2020. In an interview with Tech Company News, Andreasyan said global expansion was always planned. [2]
The idea behind Puffy was to create a mattress that felt like sleeping on a cloud. [3] After testing and retesting different foam materials and formulas, the flagship Puffy Mattress came to life. [4] All Puffy memory foam mattresses are manufactured in their region of operation. Mattresses sold in the United States and Canada are made locally.
In its first year of operation, Puffy was featured on the Ellen DeGeneres Show’s annual 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways. [5] CBS’ The Talk also featured the Puffy Lux Mattress on January 4, 2019. [6] Speaking to Forbes, Andreasyan said Puffy’s focus on customer satisfaction has been key to its success. [7]

Puffy’s product line includes mattresses, adjustable base, bed frames, bedroom furniture, mattress protector, Mattress Topper, Pillows, Sheets and blankets. All products are sold online.
The company launched its first mattress, the original Puffy Mattress, in 2017, followed by the Puffy Lux Hybrid and the Puffy Royal Hybrid. The mattresses are sold with a 101-night sleep trial, lifetime warranty, and mattress financing options. [8] All mattresses feature the Climate Comfort™ foam layer, which is engineered to protect the mattresses from temperature fluctuations. [9]
The original Puffy Mattress has five layers of memory foam, including the Cooling Cloud™ Foam. [10]
The Puffy Lux Hybrid Mattress [11] has six layers, including a patented stain-resistant cloud cover and contour-adapt coil technology. [12] The Puffy Lux is also ranked first as the best-rated mattress by online mattress review company Best Mattress Online. [13]
The Puffy Royal Hybrid [14], released in February 2020, features seven layers, including contour-adapt coil technology and infused cooling beads.
Donations
For every 10 shares of the Puffy Mattress on social media, the company donates a mattress to a children’s shelter. Various charities across the United States have partnered with Puffy for this benefit, including the Penny Lane Center, the Mission of Hope, and Nashville Rescue Mission.
In honor of international Women’s Day on March 8, 2021, the company donated mattresses and pillows to Laura’s House, a domestic violence shelter in Orange County, California. [15]
