The Goodwin Fire was a wildfire that burned more than 25,000 acres of land in the Bradshaw Mountains in Yavapai County, Arizona. It nearly reached the towns of Prescott Valley and Mayer. The fire started on the 24th of June when two men were approaching Mayer Road when in the distance they see a column of smoke. After the call was made about the fire, it had already spread to more than 500 acres due to fast winds and dry brush.
