Gafar Olawale Liameed (born 22 August 1973) is a Football Administrator and the owner of 36Lion Football Club(founded in December 18, 2000) in Nigeria.

He is the First Nigerian to invest in building a Football/Vocational School with 2 standard FIFA 'C' pitches and a mini pitch of 5x5 playing field on a 32,000sqm.

Gafar has produced  Champions League players like Imoh Ezekiel of Standard Liege and later Al Arabi  in Qatar(2012); Sodiq Popoola of FC Metz and later Ittihad Khemmissett in Morocco (2012); Peter Olayinka of KAA Gent and later Slavia Prague in The Republic of Czech (2014); Sodiq Atanda of FK Partizani and later Hapoel Kfar Saba in Israel (2015); Junior Ajayi of FC Sfaxien and later Al Ahly in Egypt (2016); Yusuf Lawal of FC Lokeren in Belgium (2017); Samson Akinyoola of FC Senica in Slovakia (2019); Tijani Muhamed of Banik Ostrava in The Republic of Czech (2019)


CAREER

Gafar has over 20 Years wealth  of experience in football investment and administration, scouting and coaching. He founded 36Lion FC, a full fledged professional Football Club based in Lagos,  aimed at educating, developing and promoting young footballers in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

He also has a vast experience in Marketing, Disposal of properties, Land acquisition and Land development. Through the diversification of some of his investments, he incorporated 36 Lion Investment Ltd in 2016. He also has a portfolio in General Supplies under the corporate name 36 Lion Telicom since 2004.

ISSA, LSFA, NFF/FIFA

In 2005, Gafar became a Member of Illinois Soccer State Association in Chicago, USA, as a Licensed Coach. He was head coach Kennedy King College Chicago between 2004 and 2008. He was voted a Board Member Lagos State Football Association from (2010-2019) and also a Member of Lagos State Football Technical Committee from (2010-2019). NFF/FIFA Representative - 2014 World Cup RoadShow in Belem, Brazil. He was appointed Chairman YSFON Lagos Chapter in 2017. Gafar was appointed into various sports bodies such as: Member, Badagry All Stars FC; Sponsor, annual Oba Akran Football Tournament, Badagry; Sponsor, annual Sports Clinic for Youths,  Badagry;

Managing Partner GEAP-F Media LTD (Elegbete TV); Board Member, Oasis Football Club,  Lagos.


PERSONAL LIFE AND EDUCATION

Gafar was born on the 22nd of August,1973. He is married with Children. Gafar first attended Holy Cross Cathedral where he obtained his First school leaving Certificate in 1982. In  1988, he obtained his West Africa Examination Council Certificate in Saint Gregory's College, Ikoyi Lagos. In 2015, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in English from the Prestigious University of Lagos. Gafar is an astute Businessman with passion for the growth of football at the grassroots level.
