John Kosamu [1] (Born January 9, 2004) is a Zambian citizen who lives in chifubu.

Kosamu was born in 2004 to Zambian parents, Josephine Kabengele and Anos Kasumpilika Kosamu. He was raised in a town known as Chifubu. Then, his father was a mechanical engineer who worked for Cummins. Kosamu was the first child in the family and he a clever, smart, naive, humble and intelligent child. When he was 2 years old, he was taken to a pre-school before switching to another school a year later. The family shifted to another area where Kosamu began going to a nursery School called Moja-Maria Nursery School. In 2008 he had a little sister named Patience and by then, Kosamu was 4 years old.
In 2009 when he was 5 years old, Kosamu got selected at Kamba secondary school. By then, his father had already lost his Job. life became tough for his family. He didn't Know how to read both Bemba and English until he was a 6th grader
. In 2012, he went and visited Solwezi for a whole month along with his cousin and two other relatives. He went back a year later and it the second time he left his province without his parents. His father got a job at Gomez Haulage Limited Company (GHL). 2 years later, when Kosamu went to grade 6, the primary school (grade 1 to 7 ) where forced to move to another school called Fibobe primary school, because kamba school was being changed to a secondary school.
In 2016, Kosamu went to visit Solwezi for the third time in his life, He passed his examinations, scoring 797 and got accepted at Temweni secondary school. His father managed to pay his school fees and buy all the school equipments.
In 2018, his father died living him with his mother and 3 siblings. It was a great shock to the whole family. The only question was; who was going to provide for their family. Three months later, Kosamu's mother started a job in kansenshi in order to provide for the family. His mother worked for exactly a year and 4 months.
Few months later, Kosamu's mother started a small business of selling food. she always ensure that her children don't stay hungry. Up to now, the children have never starved.
