The Biomes/Weather/Time system is comprised of a pack of unique events that visually apply to the map and affect the chance of obtaining exclusive auras for that biome. The system operates similarly to the rolling system used by players to acquire auras, but instead, it is rolled every second. For instance, if the Starfall biome has a 1 in 7,500 chance of appearing, then every second, the system will "roll" to determine if the Starfall biome should appear or not.

Currently, there are 6 biomes as of Era 7 (Normal, Hell, Starfall, Corruption, Null and Glitched) and 3 weathers (Windy, Snowy, and Rainy) in the game. Time is not included due to it being its own separate system.

When a biome or weather spawns, players will be alerted in the chat, notifying them about which biome has spawned.

Breakthrough

Most auras (excluding [[Glitch|{{ Aura}}]] & [[Oppression|{{ Aura}}]] due to them being glitched biome exclusives) can also be obtained outside of their natural biome through a system known as breakthrough. Each biome has a respective multiplier, which increases the rarity of biome auras if their native biome is present. For example, rolling an [[Abyssal Hunter|{{ Aura}}]] with Rainy active would have its rarity at 1/100,000,000, while its rarity in any other biome is increased to 1/400,000,000. The biome multipliers are 3x for Windy, 3x for Snowy, 4x for Rainy, 5x for Corruption, 6x for Hell, 10x for Starfall, 1000x for Null, and none for Glitch (as it reunites every multiplier from every event). In Era 7, the definition of "breakthrough" was changed so that breakthroughs are now getting auras at a lower chance inside a specific biome. [1] <tabber> |-|Weather=

Windy has a spawn rate of 1 in 500 (0.2%) and a duration of 2 minutes. There are no changes in the atmosphere and the ground, although the leaves on the trees move. This biome features 2 unique auras:

Snowy has a spawn rate of 1 in 600 (0.166%) and a duration of 2 minutes. This biome turns the ground white and envelops the map in a foggy atmosphere. This biome includes 2 unique Auras:

The basic, grassy, and plain biome. This biome does not currently have any Auras related to it. It appears as a normal grassy map with no special features whatsoever. It is the default biome of the game, and the one that will be switched to after other weather/biomes disappear until another one is chosen.

[Hell]: A strong and violent energy of chaos overtakes the world..

The Hell Biome is a biome that released in the Era 7 update. It has a 1/6,666 (0.015%) chance and lasts 11 minutes. Not much currently is known about it, but from appearance it seems to be a biome that consists of trees having their leaves dyed red, waterfalls and lakes being turned into lava, and having a hell themed atmosphere. This biome includes 4 unique Auras (with 1 being a mutation):

The map seems darker, and the ground turns black and light blue. [[Stella's Star|{{ Items}}]] has a 5% chance of spawning at any item spawn location while this biome is active. This biome includes 6 unique Auras (with 1 being a mutation):

The Corruption Biome is a biome that was recently released in the Era 7 Update. It has a chance of 1/9000 (0.0111%) chance, which lasts 11 minutes. Some purple particles appear on the map, Additionally, the map is shrouded in a purple fog. This biome includes 5 unique Auras (with 1 being a mutation):

During the Null biome, the map turns into a gray-themed area as mist obscures the player's vision. The trees, ground, and other features also turn a gray color. This biome has a 1 in 13,333 (0.0075%) chance of appearing every second, and only lasts for 99 seconds. According to the Official Trello, this biome's description reads as, "err#r. e##or. A f@ta1 err0r 0ccurred during biome se1ection......". This biome includes 1 unique Aura.

The Glitched biome is the rarest biome, having a chance of 1 in 30,000 (0.00333%) to be chosen every biome change. But it has a 1 in 15,000 (0.00666%) chance while "x2 Glitch Biome" event. The tree's leaves turn into a glowing glitchy computer fuzz while the entire map is covered in a deep darkness. The ground turns black and gray with the sky being almost pitch black. The biome lasts for 164 seconds before disappearing and ignores all Breakthrough odds, meaning all auras are obtainable at their natural rarity. It also grants the hidden achievement "???" upon a player's first time encountering the biome. This biome features two unique auras:

  • [[Glitch|{{ Aura}}]] 1/12,210,110 (0.00000819%), This aura cannot be obtained through [BREAKTHROUGH].

Time is a passive type of biome that doesn't interfere with any of the other biomes, except for a visual change. Time cycles between daytime and nighttime. Daytime includes 2 unique auras:

  • [[Solar|{{ Aura}}]] 1/5,000 (0.02%), or a 1/50,000 (0.002%) [BREAKTHROUGH] chance.
  • [[Solar : Solstice|{{ Aura}}]] 1/500,000 (0.0002%), or a 1/5,000,000 (0.00002%) [BREAKTHROUGH] chance.

Nighttime includes 3 unique Auras:

Trivia

  • Some Daily Quests require encountering a certain biome/weather to complete, such as the Null biome.
    • These can only be completed if the player witnesses the map change to the biome specified, so joining a server with the biome won't count.
  • Discovering the Glitch biome for the first time will grant the player a badge, and an achievement worth 10,101 coins as well as unlocking the "Something went wrong" Leaderboard Title in the player list.
  • A common misconception is that the Null biome is 1/13,333 per biome change. However, the correct chance is actually 1/13,333 per second. [2]
  • There are myths regarding specific weathers bringing extra luck, which is completely false.
  • Null has a glitch where it can sometimes turn yellow for a few seconds, then turn back to normal. When this happens, the community refers to it as "pee biome".
