TI-990minicomputer. In 1986, as the 990 product line sales were dwindling, I became the sole remaining person responsible for maintaining the operating systems
DX10 and
DNOS until I left the company in 1988.
I grew up in
Meridian, Mississippi. At the time, I thought Meridian was a big city (population around 48,000.) I was not prepared for life in
Houston where I lived at the start of my job at TI.
