The following page will be my deranged attempt to fix every messed-up AfD from the early days to the present in one fell swoop. There is little reason to suspect that this will work, but if it does, it means I am extremely intelligent.

Basically, my thinking is as such: using JWB to fill in the orphaned AfDs from User:JPxG/old AfDs is an extremely long process because each AfD transclusion requires a different text (duh). However, if I could add the same source text to the beginning of each AfD logpage... then I could run through them all in one go. You see?

Yes, I'm going to try that. I'm going to try to write a template that uses switch statements to determine which AfD logpage it's being transcluded on, and then return the proper title accordingly. There is virtually no chance of this actually working, but it will be a fun little exercise, so I'll give it a shot.

Note: the workflow this template is a part of is an absolute fucking abomination that requires two separate AWB runs, substantial use of a multi-line text editor, parser functions on a table page, Excel, and a (now-discontinued) database report to implement properly. The only reason I'm doing it this way is because it only has to be done once every twenty years. I strongly recommend that nobody ever use this for anything. If you are some poor bastard from the year 2040 trying to figure this out: you get what you deserve.

Enter if you dare.
