imsonar is the pseudoname of musician/installation artist/programmer/engineer Marinos Giannoukakis. Born on the 15th of February 1979 in Athens Greece. Studied the piano since the age of 3 and to this day spends atleast 5 hours a week relaxing on a piano. Marinos continued after highschool studying electrical engineering in the UK which was followed by extensive studies in elecroacoustic music composition. combining his love for arts and science marinos is strongly involved in intelligent environments and interactive installations, using robotics and software he writes. he is currently one of the most promising greek artists constantly developing and creating. his contribution is being asked by several greek universities and independent organizations.
