NiccoX Aerospace is a Barbadian aerospace engineering company headquartered in St Philip, Barbados. NiccoX was founded in 2022 by Nicholas Hinkson with the goal of providing engineering services to the aerospace and automotive industries, using technology to offer more affordability, faster development times and ultimately, bridging the gap between engineers and artists.

NiccoX Aerospace was founded by CEO Nicholas Hinkson on the idea that as technology evolves, the gap between engineering and artistry reduces allowing more creativity, faster and more affordable development times. Technologies such as topology optimization for instance, allows designers to specify where loading would occur on a component, and the software finds the optimal shape, producing components that resemble works of art.

NiccoX operates from a small office in St Philip, Barbados and sub-contracts most of its engineering and fabrication work to companies around the world. This philosophy, envisioned by its founder helps to reduce the overall cost of its services. However, according to CEO Nicholas Hinkson, NiccoX will be developing its own in-house services to have greater control over the development lifecycle of products and services.

NiccoX provides a series of engineering services from Computer Aided Designs, Finite Element Analysis to component testing and full product development testing.

Using Computational Fluid Dynamics and Wind Tunnel Testing, NiccoX designs and tests scale models for aircraft and automotive components.

3D Printing has become more readily available and accurate over the past few years. With these technologies complex parts can be printed with accuracy and shapes that other traditional methods fail to achieve.
