After reviewing the original article, I recognized it lacks what a typical Sex Education course covers. I think that is something important to highlight, especially after multiple discussions in class, we've noticed the differences in all of our Sex Education experiences, where some of our peers had the full on learning experience and some were only taught of only the basics and we're not given a comfortable space to speak about it. I think it could be a good idea to discuss how Sex Education varies throughout the United States and how it can be improved to encompass more than just heterosexual education. It would be a great idea to provide different discussions around this topic that exists. I think it could also be a good addition, to include statistics on how the lack of proper sex ed for LGBT individuals affects their quality of life and/or mental health.
