Hi. I'm currently an undergraduate music student studying (principally) oboe and composition at York University in the UK - I discovered the joys of editing on 26 June 2005, though I had been using Wikipedia as a reference for a while. My main interest here is in filling out details of contemporary composers (in particular, the Composers WikiProject).

Currently, I'm still very much a newbie at this thing, but I'm starting to get into it. Alas, my time commitments tend to vary quite a lot (particularly over the summer), so if I don't reply to comments on my talk page for a while, please don't give up!

Update: As anyone who's looked might have guessed, I'm currently too busy to do any work on the wiki :-(. I'm not sure when I'll next be able to - it may be spring, it may be earlier, it may be later - but I do intend to carry on the Andriessen thing and start some others. Of course, please feel free to edit my draft while I'm gone, as it's extremely draft-like at the mo!

Sorry about that, but I must prioritise...
