Kelly Cameron and Holly Gilmour are University of Ottawa students studying communications. We are enrolled in CMN2160- Theories of the Media with Professor Patrick McCurdy. A compulsory part of this course is to create or add to the Wikipedia database referencing academic sources to contribute more information for others to see. After looking through the dusty pages on Wikipedia cleanup links, we were inspired to expand on a topic that was a little-known town in Quebec. This page originally had only two sentences about it and, as a town with ample history, we felt that there was a lot of knowledge and information that could be added.
