William R. Keating (born September 6, 1952) [1] is the District Attorney of Norfolk County, Massachusetts, an office he has held since 1999. He served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1977 to 1984, and the Massachusetts State Senate from 1985 to 1999.
Keating was born in Norwood and raised in Sharon, MA. He attended Sharon High School and received his Bachelor of Arts from Boston College. During his legislative career, he attended graduate school at BC, receiving his MBA in 1982, and his law degree from Suffolk Law School in 1985. [2]
