Youth Earth Vision
Our Task began developing the Youth Earth Vision by asking groups of youth about their hopes and fears for the future. Ultimately more than a hundred young people from a dozen countries contributed hopes and fears.
After discussing hopes and fears with more than a hundred young people from a dozen countries, very few new hopes and fears were being mentioned. Then, some of our Youth Earth Vision team members grouped the specific hopes and fears into thematic areas. Other Earth Vision Team members then converted the bulleted hopes and fears into text for a covering letter and vision statement. The result is the Youth Earth Vision.
The Earth Vision Team is continuing discuss hopes and fears with more young people and will incorporate additional hopes and fears in the Youth Earth Plan, which is in progress. You can contribute by answering the Youth Opinion Poll.
