Legends

Klaas Jan van Rooijen was the club captain between September 2005 and June 2006. His arrival in June 2005 was on the same day that the club was founded ( 6th June 2005). His retirement was remarkably the 6th June 2006, his one year anniversary, the club's one year anniversary and the opening day of the club's new stadium expansion. On that day, he played and scored in his testimonial match against Perspolis United. Edgbaston won 4-2. In 48 matches for the club, he scored 50 goals, of which 9 were part of hattricks. Most say he gave his best performance of his career against bitter rivals Brizzol Gas on the 14th May 2006. He scored once and set up 5 other goals in a 6-3 home win, only the second win of many conflicts between the two clubs. Since van Rooijen's retirement, Zenon Hermanowicz has taken over as the club's top scorer of all time. Hermanowicz scored a hattricks in the match against "The Gas".
