I live and work - teaching English, History and Intro to Computers - in Sapporo, Japan. For the last twenty years I've been researching the history of African American involvement in the abolitionist movement in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

I'm beginning to switch my study to the role of foreign workers in the developmment of Hokkaido, Japan. I grew up in Massachusetts and Hokkaido is my adopted home.

I also am interested in blended approaches to e-learning and creation of web based multimedia educational materials.
