I am a full time
carer looking after my disabled husband and am just learning the wikiropes but wish to share some of the knowledge I have gained over the years.
Before giving up work I worked for
Jobcentre Plus for almost 25 years and have an extensive knowledge of the UK Benefits system.
This user is interested in their local history. |
This user is always fascinated as they search their family history and build a family tree to see what black sheep will turn up next. |
We live in
South East London but genealogically speaking have ancestors fron various parts of
England, (especially
Greater London and
Yorkshire) and
Scotland.
I also enjoy
country music, detective and historical fact and fiction, local and
family history,
archaeology,
cultural heritage. cooking and comedy, am a huge fan of
Clive Cussler,
Robert Goddard and
Laurie R King and any other Holmes book and film paradies, and admit to reading
Harry Potter books.
I also have an unhealthy interest in several historical mysteries and conundrums such as the
Marie Celeste, the
Tichbourne Case, the fate of the
Princes in the Tower and the identity of
Jack the Ripper.
