2N Productions, also known as DoubleN, FilterFokker and 2N is a production team who has written and produced for artists such as Kate Ryan, Bodies Without Organs, Danny, Daniela

Biography

They started back in 1996, doing dance and club music, which they shared for free on different online communities. Their music got a great response and suddenly became well known to a certain public. By 1998, 2N productions' sound had evolved and in the middle of that year, they got a publishing deal with Sony/ATV. They started to develop their own sound and skills within songwriting and had co-writes with different writers.

In 1999 Niclas and Niklas decided they wanted to explore themselves as artists. They uploaded songs onto mp3.com/, and after a few months they held the #1 spot in the Billboard Internet Sales Top 40. These songs were all made under the alias "DoubleN". This success automatically led to a record deal with Virgin Records, where they as DoubleN released 3 singles, toured with Maria Rubia (Fragma) and got Grammy nominated twice for best remix team. In 2001, DoubleN released many remixes and achieved several #1s in dancecharts for acts in Italy, Hungary, Denmark and Sweden. One of their most famous remix is the one of "It Takes A Fool To Remain Sane" which reached #1 in Italy and gained a Grammy-nomination for Best Remix. Over 50 remixes have been done up to this date. In 2002-2003 2N Productions signed a publishing deal with Cosmos Songs, and started focusing on writing Pop-songs" with twisted and interesting productions. They've so far achieved several #1s in important airplay-charts, single/album charts and dancecharts all over Europe and Asia. In 2009 the production team split up and the guys signed on different publishing companies. Niclas Kings with Sony/ATV and Niklas Bergwall with Razor Boy Music Pub. In 2009 they also produced the song "Babacar" for Kate Ryan aswell as producing her French album. Also upcoming is their production of the 90s group "Twenty 4 Seven" and their song "Slave To The Music". Other colloborations include Nervo, Daisy, Karen Danzig etc. In 2009 Kate Ryan won a WMA (World Music Awards) for biggest selling single with Ella Elle L'a. Totally 2N Productions work are available on over 10.000.000 records around the globe.
