It was launched in May 2019 by former Computer and Video Games staff [1] Andy Robinson (also previously of Playtonic Games [2]), Kornel Lambert and Andrew Taylor and is partnered with Gamer Network [3] [4]. Video Games Chronicle launched in May 2019. The website publishes regular games industry news coverage, with an emphasis on original reporting and reliable journalism [5]. VGC also publishes reviews [6] by experienced critics including Chris Schilling [7] and Edwin Evans-Thirlwell [8]
