Linus Lullaby is a four-piece Experimental Hardcore, or most notably Ambientcore, band from Mullica Hill, New Jersey.

History

New article name is about the Experimental quartet from Mullica Hill, New Jersey. They have been noted as being "The Future" for their own genre they have created and rising as a band itself with little help from outside the band. [1] The band has most notably been noticed for having songs aired on Rowan Radio and for "most unique local talent" in the Philadelphia Area. [2] They are also known for their song "Oprah!" which literally praises Oprah Winfrey that she will one day "save us all" and "rule the world" for all humanity; this song has a different approach on their sound (as do many others) and has a 'pop hardcore' vibe to it; it's also known for it's gang-vocal/audience chant: " Oprah"!

On 10 May 2009, Mike Juliano, the second founder next to Matt, departed the band for a lack of interest and personal reasons. This was stated on a blog on the band's Myspace.

In February 2010, the band had started sharing the stage with some big names, like Your Demise (Visible Noise Records) from England and Circle Of Contempt ( Sumerian Records) from Finland.

Linus Lullaby and it's fans are known for calling the musical sense and style of their songs as "Ambientcore" which relates to their large use of Ambient-styled music blended in with Hardcore elements; for a more widely-use term of genre-defining them, Experimental or Experimental Hardcore is appropiate, although they have discovered a new sound among everyone to hear (Ambient-core).
