Draconrex is an entirely made up word which comes from an archaic belief in the dracone and the latin word rex; used together to mean Dragon [1] king. Killing dragons by Collaert after Stradanus c1640 on the right and leading the page, Saint Michael grasped on the ankle by the dragon and poised for the kill. This user intends no personal harm should be inflicted on any living creature and as yet there have been no dragons killed nor injured in the creation of this userpage.

This user is an avid historian and coupled with a love of Colorado, and particularly that Blue Sky Country [3] known as Gunnison Country, will endeavor to improve related articles of the area.
A Wikipedia search for Gunnison Country produced only Gunnison Country Times. This newspaper has been cited in books and student papers at Leslie J. Savage Library on campus of Western State Colorado University. These resources are notable references for the creation of Gunnison Country (Colorado) article. A rich history encompasses an area greater than Gunnison County, Colorado, in geology, archaeology, paleontology, hunting grounds, settlement [4], mining, mining camps, ghost towns, ranching, blue sky, and both - hospitable and inhospitable climates, transportation [5] [6] [7], and a more recent entertainment/activity center. As early as c. 1860, predecessors to the Gunnison Country Times Newspaper wrote of education on the western slope of the Continental Divide, the Colorado State Normal School [8] was vied for across several county lines, which caused delays until finally erected on town lots set aside on the northeast corner of Gunnison, Colorado [9]. Education in the Gunnison Country also adds to the rich history. The U.S. Forest Service [10] installed the first Forest Ranger, Len Shoemaker [11] [12] in the Gunnison Country; U.S. National Parks, and protected Wilderness Areas encompass great portions of this Gunnison Country.
