OpenFeint is an iPhone and iPod Touch based social gaming platform. Independant developers install OpenFeint onto their iPhone apps, and OpenFeint then provides social networking between the users of that game and other OpenFeint-enabled apps. OpenFeint provides social networking and community services for the developers. It is based in Burlingame, California.

History

OpenFeint was originally developed by developers Jason Citron and Danielle Casseley. The two had originally developed a very popular iPhone game, Aurora Feint.
