I am an archivist working with rare books and historic documents related to Texas history. From 2011-2015 I worked in the collections and exhibits department at the Dallas Historical Society, and in 2016 I became the Special Collections archivist at the University of Texas at Arlington. [1] In 2017 I became the first archivist to complete the arrangement and description certificate program offered through the Society of American Archivists. [2] [3]
I, Doddsam09, am an employee of the University of Texas at Arlington.
I always strive to strictly abide by Wikipedia's accepted practices on conflicts of interest, neutrality, and notability. Therefore, I will not make substantive edits to articles related to the University as an agency, or its personnel. Instead, if I edit articles, they will be to contribute subject matter expertise, for example to improve articles about archival holdings
