Hi and thanks for visiting my user page. My name is Tony. Why am I here on Wikipedia? A child of the 70's, I was brought up experiencing the leaps and bounds made in the world of computers and the internet, a great privilege I believe! During that time I have seen how website content and social media posts have become an ever increasing source of information, both good and bad, in the world we live. Of course, Wikipedia has been an integral part of that information collaboration, sharing and editing, yet I have often read certain, especially on health and well-being topics (hence my user name!) articles and pages that I believe were incorrect or just needed extra information. That's why I decided that I should stop moaning and start editing and contributing!
As a 'newbie' to editing on Wikipedia, the team and members have already been an excellent and welcoming source of advice and support, and I look forward to contributing more to what is an amazing and historical part of all our on-line lives.
