I am a relative novice to the whole WikiPedia-editing-thing, so please politely point out any written or unwritten rules or guidelines I might have broken.

I am a historian of international relations by education and presently employed by the Dutch ministry of General Affairs. In that capacity, I have access to daily newspapers from the Netherlands and around the world and spend a large time of a working day reading them.

As might be expected, my main contributions can be found in Netherlands, Politics of the Netherlands and related articles. In addition, I bear a large responsibility for the main article on the Hofstad Network (a suspected dutch islamist terrorist network, currently on trial) and on several of its members.
