As you can tell I sorely hope a Democrat (any Democrat) is inaugurated in January 2009, if the Republic is still standing. However there are a few Republicans I admire - Olympia Snowe, Lincoln Chafee, even Mitt Romney in a way because I think he learned from his experiences in Massachusetts, but otherwise slim pickings.
