I don't quite understand what this page is for but I'll add a comment as to my current motivation in adding to wiki's pages - any comments would be welcomed! For many years I have been involved in one way or another with the (UK) governments use of the legal system and have been dismayed at the perversion (and incompetence) exhibited by both government and the European Commission of Human Rights. My 'editing' is aimed at adding factual details about various senior members of the judiciary; details which I would be hard-pressed to believe unless I had personally experienced them.

Anybody have a similar story? ==

I'll add a brief note which I believe to be appropriate:- I received two responses to my addition to the 'Biographies' of four Law Lords, one of which was reasonable and could be considered appropriate since it made no inappropriate comment and basically sought coment from other 'eyes' The only 'eye' that responded was self-opinionated bunkum with no reasonable basis whatsoever; perhaps closely related to most published 'biographies' and historical 'facts'

I am an engineer by profession and for most of my (fairly lengthy)life have considered 'recorded history' as serving little purpose as it is clearly (and generally accepted?) basically written by vested interests and/or 'the victor' : it is, in short, clearly best ignored and judgements made on known 'facts' or demonstrable results

With the advent of wiki-type information it appeared that opportunity to provide information, in the case at hand biographical, based on facts and truth, stood an equal chance of being aired as other details

Some Hope - what a waste
