I didn't see any improvements in it, and neither did Silence, apparently. I think it's most important that we treat it as an individual title first, and then make reference to its place in the series. Ryu Kaze 20:02, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
I obviously think it's wonderful as it is, but more than that, I certainly don't think we should extend an invitation to these political guys to argue out the matter while they use our work to make an example one way or the other. Ryu Kaze 21:54, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Where was this? And why? It's not like we didn't follow his suggestions. Ryu Kaze 22:05, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Aye. XD The scenery in our party's not half as nice, though. No offense, of course. Ryu Kaze 01:05, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
Hey, Tyler, Flooch just pointed out to me that the TFA page has some rather redundant wording. I changed it on the main FFX page, but -- being that the TFAs are fully protected -- well... I don't suppose you could work your magic, could you? Ryu Kaze 01:38, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
Thought I'd let you know that X-2's good to go on everything but the gameplay. I might wait until tomorrow to work on that, though. Ryu Kaze 03:25, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
I could use some help from you guys. I am looking to expand the plot section, similar to the FF8 version. I've added a setting section like you said, but it looks like the Plot section needs to be longer. Any help with what to add? I was thinking we could submit this and FFVIII together. Crazyswordsman 21:11, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
I've worked on this article for months and have previously nominated it for feature status twice only for it to be rejected. I would like your help since you were apart of the Patriots FA article to check out the Chicago Bears article and tell me what other improvements should be made to this article. -- Happyman22 22:36, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Hello Deckiller/archive23, and thank you for your support at my Request for Adminship, which succeeded with an overwhelming final count of (105/2/0). I was very pleased with the outpouring of kind words from the community that has now entrusted me with these tools, from the classroom, the lesson in human psychology and the international resource known as Wikipedia. The Free Encyclopedia. Please feel free to leave me plenty of requests, monitor my actions (through the admin desk on my userpage) and, if you find yourself in the mood, listen to some of what I do in real life. In any case, keep up the great work and have a fabulous day. Grand master ka 06:45, 17 July 2006 (UTC) |
Deckiller, cheers! We meet again. To be point: please unban the aforementioned user. I have communicated to him, and he was convinced me that he was done nothing wrong. I hope this miscommunication between you and him and be resolved quickly. Thanks.

Does the Story section really need expanding? I can see maybe adding mention of Chocobo World to Gameplay, but I'm not sure what we're really missing from the story. I think the Characters info could use more personality info, though. I'll take care of that. Ryu Kaze 12:38, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
By the way, could you stop by FFVI's talk page? I'd like to get your opinion on the Characters image matter. Ryu Kaze 01:00, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
I agree. Are we? I suppose I am if you are. Ryu Kaze 00:59, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
Hi,
I've recently added Libya to the list of featured article candidates. Overall the candidature is going well with many of the objections now sorted out. The final concrete objection is with the article's prose. I have been the main contributor to the article and have been looking at it for the previous 9 - 10 months. My eyes no longer see it freshly, so I am not a suitable copy-editor!
To meet the final demand of copy editing, I have been advised to ask different people to edit parts of the article.
I would really love to get this article featured as you can probably see from the page's history! I've worked very hard on it and I see this as possibly being the final hurdle.
You can see the prose objections, mostly raised by
Sandy, on the
candidature page. If you have the time, please choose a section (Politics, Religion, Culture etc.) and copyedit, perfect, ace it! I would be very grateful with any help I can get.
Thanks a lot,

I have a question about some of the statements on the Star Wars Wikiproject projectpage. The intro states that the project covers "Star Wars materials (canon and non-canon)", yet there is a section on the page called "Canonicity" that states: "Fanfiction, speculation, and non-canon are not permitted and will be deleted, per Wikipedia policy and this WikiProject." This is sort of contradictory and I think the statement in the intro is the most useful. In some cases, it is not possible to attain a certain level of comprehensiveness without discussing a character or idea's development without looking at non-canon sources (an example of this is in the Jabba the Hutt article in the SW literature section).
Also, I have seen editors argue over pictures in articles because of canonicity. For example, a few months ago a picture of the Palpatine from the original Empire Strikes Back was removed from the Palpatine article because it was "not canon" (I swear I saw this somewhere, but I've looked back and couldn't find the discussion; the picture was removed by a user March 21, 2006). I personally thought this was an important picture because it showed the history of the appearance of the character: yeah, Palpatine was originally an old woman with chimpanzee eyes! Still, there is a discussion of this nature on the Jabba the Hutt talk page. Well anyway, I'm just wondering what you think about all this. Dmoon1 02:23, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
It's a tough subject to find boundaries on; I just tried to clarify it on the project page. — Deckill e r 03:49, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
