Make a "disputed" template that puts ^[disputed[REFERENCE]] in-line and a normal reference in the references section.
{{citation disputed|ref=...}} creates disputed [1]
or {{citation disputed|url=...}} creates disputed, see [{{{url}}}]
dubious -- Add "livingperson=name" parameter to all fact/unreferenced templates, if present, add to category "reference problems involving living persons" or similar. -- Create templates for articles that transclude other articles and for those that are transcluded into them. In the template put a "whattrancludesthis" link if possible.

This note on the Village Pump shows you how to add a "0" tab next to the "edit this page" tab. It is like an link but just for the top section. See the edit.

Test of replacement afc top template. Note that I am NOT using subst: in this example, but real users will use subst:. Note the additional section heading added by the mm version is not editable if subst: is not used. This could cause some confusion. I should probably add code to prevent this from being used without a subst:
