Actor/writer/director/producer born December 23, 1950, who began his career in San Francisco, California with the American Conservatory Theatre during the later 1960's/early 70's, appearing in 16 plays over three seasons. HIghlights include the original production of Mark Medoff's "The Kramer" and the award-winning modern dress version of "The Merchant of Venice". At the same time, this actor was writing and producing innovative experimental drama under the auspices of his company "Openhand Productions", creating a vivid mime/mask/voice interpretation of the myth of "Eros & Psyche" along with a number of social commentary one-act plays for schools.

Progressing onto a film career in Hollywood, he continued to produce innovative theatre in numerous fringe venues including the Onion Theatre Company, the ATA, LA Improv, Agape Theatre. Characterised by a wide range of roles in film and television such as AIP's "Frogs", Clint Eastwood's "Dirty Harry" and Michaelangelo Antonioni's "Zabriskies Point", he finally exhausted his interest in Hollywood and moved onto the British scene, emigrating to London where he had previously filmed "The Eagle has Landed" for John Sturgess. With a British passport in hand due to his English heritage, he continued to work in the theatre, with appearances in the West End, National and International along with producing fringe performances, most notably "Written in Sickness" based on the writing of Damon Runyon which won TimeOut pick of the week. Film and television work also continued with appearances on the BBC, ITV, Yorkshire alongside numerous international television productions. Throughout he also maintained a steady output of commercials of international scope, appearing in many national campaigns for the US, UK, Spain, Holland, Germany, Denmark and France.

MA degrees in Performance and Screenwriting strengthened the screenwriting efforts of this actor who formed a development company to handle the enormous amount of work he was producing. New Justice Films now has a large catalogue of scripts for both television, film and theatre with two productions currently completed; "Dreamwalkers", a 40' minute film made with the young people of Christchurch and "OfficeYoga", a 55' minute DVD for use in work situations. Currently married to the Actress and Yoga Elder Elvira Poulianou of the well-known Poulianos family based in Athens, Greece with two children, Peter Constantinos David Gilliam and Christian Alexander Robert Gilliam.
