Ndanji erick siwale (born 3 August 2000), known professionally as Eris emo, is a Zambian afro hip-hop rapper, songwriter and record producer. He came into light after releasing several non-album singles, Eris released his first mixtape New wave in 2017, which features the lead single, "Kwacha kuseni". In 2019, Eris released his debut mixtape, Demo tapes. [1]
Ndanji erick siwale was born in 2000, in Ndeke, a small town in Copperbelt, to a Malawian mother, and an zambian father.After his parents rellocated to a different town at the age of five, he went to live with his Aunty in Kitwe, Copperbelt . However, he continued to visit his mother who still resided in Ndeke on a regular basis. [2]
The term "Eris" originated from his middle name erick and the love of south african rapper A-reece and thus adopted it as a part of his stage name.As he started rapping in high school, Eris recorded his first song at the age of 17at his friend's studio.
After finishing high school, Eris was impassioned to start making beats and uploading videos of snippets on social media platforms: Instagram or Facebook, After seeing a good feedback from friends,He later started upoading his music on soundcloud and audiomack where he grew his fanbase and dropped the mixtape demo tapes which was a compilation of singles.
