Early life
Elena Buenrostro is a Professional Drone pilot, Video Producer and the founder of Women Who Drone, an online platform and community whose aim is to inspire, educate and empower women and girls with drone technology [1]. Elena's drone journey began on the Great Wall of China where she captured it with her drone [2] [3].In which she discovered a whole new perspective and passion for aerial photography and videography.
Career
Elena Buenrostro Prior to Women Who Drone [4] [5], Elena has worked as a TV Producer, Writer, whilst hosting a television show titled, Behind The Gates on WealthTV, where she toured some luxury properties around the USA Caribbean and Asia.Elena has also created over 350 short-form cooking and DIY videos for jumblejoy.com and in 2016 moved to San Francisco to work for Brit.co where she produced, directed and hosted their online classes.She was also a panelist for the 2019 international drone day at Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology in which different prospect of drone technologies were presented and awarded [6] [7]
Achievement
In 2018, Elena Buenrostro started Women Who Drone, an online community for female drone pilots and enthusiasts around the world. They educate, inspire and empower women and girls to enter the UAV [8] [9] industry by providing drone workshops, lessons and online courses.
