Chris Hargrave born March 9 1954, is a British rock guitarist and a founder member of Seven Year Itch and The Flying Ducks.

From his early association with original 70's pub rockers BEES MAKE HONEY, Chris Hargrave has clocked up countless road miles playing in bars, clubs, festivals, honky tonks, dives and concert halls all over the UK, Scandinavia and Europe.

As well as fronting his own bands SEVEN YEAR ITCH (featuring the legendary ALBERT LEE on guitar), a stint with CHARLIE WHITNEY (ex guitarist with FAMILY) in the hard touring RHYTHM METHOD and seven years with his successful blues band THE FLYING DUCKS, Chris has written songs both for himself and other artists (including a number one in Norway), lent his voice to countless recording sessions at home and abroad, and worked along side the likes of TEX COMER and FRAN BYRNE from ACE, STEVE SIMPSON from RONNIE LANE'S SLIM CHANCE and ROGER CHAPMAN.

For most of the nineties, Chris stripped everything down, strapped on his acoustic guitar and toured constantly as a solo performer, releasing SWEET THURSDAY; a cd of original acoustic material, featuring STEVE SIMPSON on guitar and mandolin.

More recently, sees his return to songwriting as well as going electric once again fronting London band OUT TO LUNCH and following a highly successful re-union gig with 7 YEAR ITCH late in 2008, he is working on more gigs for the band later in 2009. His long association with Scandinavia sees him hopping over to Norway regularly to play festival and club dates with the acclaimed BLUE STEEL, featuring some of Norway's top blues musicians.
