Severe Tropical Cyclone Claudia was a tropical cyclone of moderate intensity that impacted the Northern Territory and Western Australia during January 2020, causing substantial damage in Darwin. It was the third tropical low, second tropical cyclone and second severe tropical cyclone of the 2019–20 Australian region cyclone season. Claudia developed from a tropical low which formed at the end of a monsoon trough over the Maluku Islands on 4 January.
