Your Certified Organic Products is based in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada. The company was launched on March 10, 2005 as a means to draw attention to the benefits of organic foods and personal care. It is the primary distributor for MiEssence Certified Organics in Canada, and one of the main MiEssence distributors for the U.S.A.

The founder, Bonny Belanger, was a featured speaker at the October 2007 MiEssence Corporate Conference, and hosted several MiEssence Directors in a speaking tour from Strathmore to Banff, Alberta, Canada a month earlier. Your Certified Organic Products has been featured in multiple company newsletters, such as ONEgroup News and RepsNewsletter.

From August 2008 to August 2011, Your Certified Organic Products moved offices to Belmopan, Belize, Central America. During that term, every effort was made to bring about awareness of organic agriculture and certification. Organic vegetable pilot crops were started in the village of More Tomorrow. The founder, Bonny Belanger, was an active Member of Belize Organic Producers Association (BOPA), and a contributor to the BOPA Newsletter. She also assisted with the organization's organic certification scheme in its very early development.

Hosting various information sessions in Belize, as well as visiting heads of state (including Gabino Canto, Belize Vice Minister of Agriculture), the founder's message was far reaching. Twice, her work, along with interviews, were featured on local television station Plus TV - Belize News, specifically highlighting the potential negative outcomes of GMO's (genetically modified organisms). These views were reflected in her work as she strove to make Your Certified Organic Products synonymous with support for organic agriculture both in Belize and elsewhere. Genetically modified crops are currently not lawful in Belize.

From Asia and the Middle East, to Oceania, Europe, and Latin America, individuals and businesses the world over are working closely with Your Certified Organic Products to raise awareness of the possible dangers of synthetic chemicals to human health, as well as the global benefits of organic agriculture and certification, with the aim of providing viable alternatives to conventionally made home and personal care products.
