Stéphane BLANC (born 30 December 1992 in Audincourt, France) is a French footballer, who are currently free player, and played for his last season for Oulun Työväen Palloilijat in Finland. [1] [2]

He is centre forward.

Young career

Stéphane started his young career with AS Porto-Vecchio in 2003 as goalkeeper. He played 3 years, and some clubs like SC Bastia or Gazélec Ajaccio Acedemies were interested by his profile.

Finally, he moved with his parents in Franche-Comté, and he decided to play as centre forward. He played one year for his city club, AS Danjoutin Andelnans Meroux.

His father, who is referee in Switzerland, advised him to play there. He signed with Groupement Ajoie-Ouest for his last U17 year.

Senior career

Stéphane started his senior career in 2009, in amateur league, 2. Liga (Switzerland) with US Boncourt.

After 4 years with US Boncourt, he played for FC Boncourt 05, where he was top scorer at the mid-season with 14 goals in 3. Liga (Switzerland). The second part of the season, he stopped to play for them, and he trained with ASM Belfort, because his sport teacher at school, Maurice Goldman, offered him the opportunity to show him to have a chance to play in Championnat National 2 in France. Unfortunately, he didn't sign with them the next season.

Finally, he plays the next season with FC Courtemaîche in 3. Liga (Switzerland).

The next year, he found a new challenge and he signed his first semi-professional contract in 2015 with FC Alle in 2. Liga (Switzerland). He scored a lot of goals, and the next season, FC Moutier, who played in 2.Liga interregional, decided to offer him a contract. After a good mid-season, he decided to take the challenge to play with FC Bassecourt in 1. Liga (Switzerland) with the coach Anthony Sirufo, ex professional football player. Unfortunately, the coach didn't give him his chance.

In 2018, after 6 months without club, he signed his first professional contract with Penya Encarnada d'Andorra in Primera Divisió. He played 6 games and scored his first goal in professional league against UE Sant Julià. He broken his contract with them after 4 months, following some problems within the club.

The next season, after few contacts with clubs in Lithuania, Malta, and Iceland, and some disappointments, he finally came back in amateur league in France with JS Lure, with the coach Fabien Boudarène, who were ex professional football player with FC Sochaux-Montbéliard. He only played two games and he signed directly with FC Grandvillars, who played in Championnat National 3. He played two seasons with the club.

After the season was interrupted by the COVID-19 health crisis, he came into contact with Adriel Gabilan, sport director of Oulun Työväen Palloilijat in Finland. He signed a new professional contract to play the 2020 season in Kolmonen, because the club have the project to promote year by year, hoping to play in top league ( Veikkausliiga) quickly. This year, his club was champion, and promoted to Kakkonen. He played 15 games, for 11 goals (2nd top scorer of his team, and 5th top scorer of the league) and 5 assists.

He is currently free player, and he tries to find a new challenge for the 2021 season.

Paulaner Cup

In 2014, Stéphane took part in a competition, the Paulaner Cup, sponsorised by Paulaner, official sponsor of FC Bayern Munich.

After a series of tests, at the FC Bayern Munich's training center, the best players had a chance to play against the first team, with Thomas Müller, Mario Götze, Dante, Rafinha, etc... Stéphane was one of the best players, and the first French player to take part of this team.

The 6th of October, 2014, he played this exhibition game at Sportpark Unterhaching. He played the first half, and he got the compliments of Pep Guardiola for his game.
