Hi there! It's a bit improper to remove other people's Wikibreak messages from their pages. When a Phaedriel is back from her break, she will remove the notice at her discretion. Her notice said she'd be back around July 19th. July 20th is rather close to the 19th, right? Her page is quite frequented by the community and the notice lets a lot of users know what she's up to. With that, I'll ask you to replace it. Also, I'm quite happy to meet you, mate and if I seem at all unkind or anything in my message, please note that it isn't my intention at all to chastise you in any way. I know you were acting in good faith. Cheers! hoopydink Conas tá tú? 07:59, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

Hi.
I appreciate your vigilance in protecting Wikipedia from vandalism, and can only guess at how exasperating that can be. It obviously requires fast judgement calls in order to minimize the damage a vandal can do. And even though this may block some innocents (like me), that is a small price to pay for protecting Wikipedia from vandalism.
Yesterday, you blocked my account User:List Expert, because you interpretted as vandalism some redirects that I had created. I'm writing to you now to assure you that they were not intended as vandalism, and to request that you unblock my account as I had started some discussions with that account on a page I was working on, and need the account for the sake of continuity. Here's a full explanation of what I was doing:
I was working on the page List of sexual slurs, and linkified all the terms defined on that page in order to see the subject's redlink profile. I then proceded to fix the redlinks. Rather than use pipes on the synonymous terms, I figured, since the terms were presented with source citations on a glossary-like page of Wikipedia, which increases the chances that someone might try to access those terms later via the search box, that redirects for each of the terms were warranted. And rather than redirecting the terms to the glossary, which would have created circular links, I figured it was more appropriate to redirect them to the synonym which most closely defined them (that is also a member of the list on that page). A redirect actually solves three problems at the same time: the redlink, an unsupported term in search, and allows the links to be automatically supported in the future should the redirects ever be replaced by actual topic pages.
If you had sent me a message, we could have resolved this matter withuot shutting me down for a day (as I do have another account upon which I do most of my work), but who knows how much damage a real vandal could have caused during the time it would take you to write a message. So I understand why you didn't. The reason for the new account is that I wish to keep work on the more colorful areas of Wikipedia under the new account, to as not to detract from nor distract attention away from my other body of work on Wikipedia.
Now that you have read my explanation concerning the redirects, may I go ahead and create them? Or would you prefer that piped links be utilized instead?
And please, unblock User:List Expert.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely, -- List Expert2 23:19, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

Hi CP!
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think you know a thing or two about Pokemon? The article Talent Showdown was nominated for AfD but with no reason given or subpage created. I've cancelled it, but would like an expert to tag, delete or AfD as appropriate. At the moment, it's probably CSD-A1 but I'd prefer someone with experience of the subject to decide that in this case.
Thanks, my friend! ➨ ЯEDVERS 19:45, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

Hi. I was told that you are largely responsible for today's featured article, Bulbasaur. I just want to say what an amazing job you did. You took a rather arcane topic and turned it into something studious and learned, yet quirky and fun. At a talk I am giving to a group of teachers tomorrow, I plan on mentioning this article as a prime example of what they can do with their students to promote research and writing skills. Thanks.
