The Testimony of Patience Kershaw is a song written in 1969 by singer-songwriter Frank Higgins. Its best known rendition is by The Unthanks from their 2009 album Here's The Tender Coming.

The song was inspired by the testimony given by Patience Kershaw on May 15 1842 during the Parliamentary Commission into child labour in the mining industry. Kershaw, 17 years old at the time, was a hurryer at Boothtown Colliery near Halifax in West Yorkshire.
