leonardo da vinci is most likely the most well know artist in the world. He has lots of paintings, such as The Virgin and Child with Saint Anne The Virgin and child with Saint Anne]], Lady with an Ermine, adoration of the kings and last but definitely the most well know painting in the history of the world Mona Lisa. he is one of the greatest painters and most versatile geniuses in history. He was one of the key figures of the Renaissance. Leonardo was trained to be a painter but was astonished by all the scientific fields. Leonardo studied anatomy, astronomy, botany, geology, geometry, and optics. he also designed machines and made plans for lots of inventions. ^[1]

Born April 14,1452 in the Tuscan hill of Vinci there is not much information on his early years but he had received an informal education in Latin,geometry and mathematics.
