Canto Hondo is Spanish for "deep song". In oral tradition, deep song is a doorway into the wild soul underworld. It is sung to remember the intuitive, creative and deep-knowing parts of ourselves.

Canto Hondo is a student studying Sociology with an emphasis in social inequality. She has interest in international politics and economics, Jungian psychology, and pedagogy. Her deep song manifests in the creative arts, specifically dance and writing.
