Hey my name's Chris, I'm using Wikipedia as part of a Winter Study course at Williams College, sort of a test run I guess.

Winter Study Introduction

I chose to take this course because I took a basic course on programming, really enjoyed it, and would like to learn more. I'm a Math (and Studio Art) major, so I thought this course (Using a Computer to Do Math You Cannot Do) was a nice way to continue learning about computers, while staying a bit in a realm I'm knowledgable about.

I'm on the Ultimate Frisbee team (WUFO), so I really enjoy tossing a disc around. People sometimes ask, WUFO stands for Williams Ultimate Frisbee Organisation. I also enjoy the online world beyond programming and math: playing Xbox Live and watching shows on Netflix. I'm the sort of person who has to know every part of a story, once I've started a show or a movie I need to find out what happens next (in other words I can't watch TV with my Dad, a channel flipper). In terms of how I might edit Wikipedia further, I watch enough TV shows to be fairly knowledgable about the details, and could possibly fix a few plot errors wherever they may pop up, maybe some frisbee details as well (I researched the origins of ultimate in high school).
