Thanks to an ancestry.com subscription and some good old–fashioned vanity, here's a list of famous ancestors of mine.

Background

BedrockPerson's paternal lineage is mostly traceable to the Ukranian city of Zalishchyky, whereas the rest of this family can be traced to other Ternopil locales such as Zolotyi Potik and Yahilnytsya. BedrockPerson's maternal lineage is not as homogenous. While all of one side can be traced to Paduli, the other half remains a diverse series of different genetic lines converging into one, with the most prominent being of the County Meath and others from Zinga, Casabona, Glamorgan, and many others.
