My name is Michael Barszcz and I am currently a senior at New Jersey Institute of Technology studying Computer Science. In pursuit of my degree I have worked with languages such as Java, Python, C/C++, Ruby and have become familiar with Windows and UNIX like operating systems. Through my work experience I have gained valuable knowledge in software quality assurance and testing. Some of my major projects involved creating an automation test API using Python and Selenium for a web based application, a wrapper script that allow non-programmers to generate automation scripts, as well as some smaller scripts to automate software feature testing.

As my knowledge of computer science grows I would like to educate others in the field with accurate and useful information about topics I have become familiar with. I am currently working on proposing changes to the Selenium (Software) Wikipedia page since it is an application I have become quite familiar with over the past year. I also believe the application's use in testing software will continue to grow as more and more applications are shifted from locally based services to web services.
